Engineering schools teach very theoretical concepts and ideal

I’m a non-traditional engineer and technician with a diverse background that gives me a unique way of looking at problems.  If I don’t know something, I will say so and quickly learn and build a solution from physics. I have the curiosity, effective communication, and joy of adventure to jump in, ask questions, and do what’s necessary to accelerate Starship manufacturing.

I moved to Brownsville, Texas after engineering grad school to accelerate the SpaceX mission and make humans a multi-planetary species.

Education

2018 - 2022

Missouri University of Science & Technology
GPA: 3.5/4.0

Masters of Science in Computer Engineering
Though this degree title is in computers, I engineered solutions as a funded researcher from a systems perspective beginning with physics. My research projects broadly used electrical, mechanical, and computational systems.

2014 - 2018

Missouri University of Science & Technology

GPA: 3.2/4.0

Bachelor of Science in Computer Engineering

This degree was a non-traditional path through several disciplines, including aerospace, mechanical, electrical, physics, and finally graduating in computer engineering. My final project was building an electroencephalograph and brain-computer interface from code and circuit components.

2011 - 2014

Community College of the Air Force

GPA: 4.0/4.0

Associates of Applied Science in Aerospace Maintenance

Trained in precision inspection,  maintenance, and checkouts of all KC-135 aircraft subsystems. Instructed in fundamentals of aviation diagnostics of mechanical stress/strain, electrical system faults, avionics, pneumatic, high-pressure hydraulics, sheet metal, and operational checkouts of high-bypass turbofan engines
